Fun weekend here. Uncle Ric came down from Boston to meet Desi and a major "Nor-esta" hit us. A direct result of Ric mocking meteorologist for predicting a storm "that wasn't coming" at 10:30pm on Sat night. The next morning we had 2 ft. Maybe we should send Ric to Tahoe. We also had Tommy and Heidi Felago and Mike Guerra out to the house on Saturday for dinner. It was great to see those guys. Life gets busy, nice to be able to catch with old friends when you get the chance. Desi is doing great, such a cool little guy. Awesome disposition, very chill. Only bad thing is that he is living life like we did in 1999, sleeps all day and is up all night. We're going to have to change that.

Here are some Pictures of Desi at week 1. So far he's been an amazing little boy. He's figured out how to feed and he had no problem figuring out how to lounge (gene pool sharing with his Uncle Ric). He's getting more alert every day and since I made it home from my supposed "Paternity Leave" from work before 10pm we figured we'd take some pics. Enjoy.

Yes, I wouldn't like a flash going off in my face when I was trying to get back to sleep either. Sorry little man

El orgullo de ser padre

Fully awake, as he would be again at 3am.

The calm before the storm...

So pissed at the weight in. Can't blame him. Look at the size of that hand.

What can I say?

Patrice and Desi Day 2

Patrice, Desi and our friend Kara in the hospital

Nanna's handy work

Jut getting home. Most nerve racking drive of my life.

Desi with Nanna, Uncle Dave and his cousins Trent and Meghan.

Abuela is going to be trouble. :)

Day 4. Me trying to get him with his eyes open. Hasn't happened much.
