Hey everyone. big blog update coming up. We hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. The end of August found us on a 10 day west coast swing. We started with a weekend in Bend, OR visiting our good friend Amy Beyer. It was great to finally see the place that we had heard so much about, gorgeous town with tons of water, a great vibe to it and Mt. Bachelor and the Cascade Mtn range right there. Added bonus was that our good friends from SF, Jeff and Abby Dean came up that weekend to visit Jeff's Parents who live in Bend. Awesome to see them, to be able to get everyone together at the Dean's house for a fantastic dinner. I'm not sure the pictures I have posted will do it justice but you'll get the idea. Desi marching little Piper around the house by the leash keep us entertained for much of the evening. Some classic video coming as soon as I figure out what is going on with dropbox.

After Bend we head down to LA for a bunch of days. I had a three day work conference and Desi and Patrice came down on the Wed morning. We spent the next five days in Santa Monica visiting with our good friends Jon and Sam Betti and meeting their beautiful baby girl Jane. West side of LA is good living I promise you that. Lots of pool and beach time and a great evening/BBQ up in Malibu with Ann Betti and Dennis. We had such a fantastic, relaxing time. It was great to get to see so many good friends and thank you all so much for all your hospitality.
